What will be your mission?

 

As Pastry Assistant you will work in close contact with the kitchen supervisors and team members, and assist them by performing a range of food preparation tasks. You will also perform all cleaning, washing, and preparation duties required in the kitchen to ensure that the operations run smoothly.

What will you do?

 

  • Prepare and preserve the necessary ingredients for the service according to recipes or menu. 
  • Check and ensure the correct use of the temperature of appliances and food. 
  • Collaborate in the preparation and presentation of high quality dishes for daily operations according to recipes/menu within company guidelines. 
  • Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served. 
  • Knowledge and application of the FIFO system. 
  • Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area. 
  • Collaborate in the preparation of all mise-en-place for all relevant menus. 
  • Assist cooks during peak activity periods. 
  • Knowledge and application of all relevant health department rules/regulations (HACCP). 
  • Preparation. Use and maintenance of the necessary tools for each of the provided services. 
What are we looking for?

 

  • At least 6 months’ experience developing similar functions, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.  
  • High school diploma or vocational training on hospitality/F&B/kitchen.
  • Fluency in local language is a must and knowledge of English is highly valuable. 
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Housekeeping Control Desk

The housekeeping control desk serves as the communication hub for the department. As Housekeeping Coordinator, I am responsible for:

  • Handling all incoming calls and inquiries in a professional and efficient manner, conveying information accurately.
  • Keeping the notice board up to date with relevant information.
  • Communicating room status changes and occupancy updates with floor supervisors.

Guest Interaction and Room Management

  • Assigning rooms to attendants and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Managing room status updates in PMS (Opera, HubOS).
  • Assisting guests with special requests and preferences, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Coordinating with Front Office, Laundry, and Valet departments to fulfill guest requests.
  • Managing inventory control, purchasing requirements, and departmental stocktakes.

Maintenance and Repairs

Team Management

Qualification

Duties and Responsibilities

I will assist the Recruitment Manager and Director of Human Resources in the recruitment plan and host ratios, succession planning and career development plans (MDPs), conduct host satisfaction surveys, ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and relevant and maintain confidential host files. I will assist analyzing host turnover statistics and trends.

Host facilities are my responsibility, along with the host restaurant (Fogons) and various other host activities. I will also champion the social and environmental activities in coordination with the Sustainability Manager, Training Manager and Training Coordinator.

I will solve daily queries of Hosts related to Factorial, validating information and documentation in every Hosts profile. Sending Hotel / HR Announcements and important communications via Factorial and Email.

By keeping abreast of industry intelligence, trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills, I will support and continually focus on talent management for our resort. Human Resources practices will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and effective.

I will also support and champion the social and environmental activities in coordination with the Sustainability Manager and coordinate with the identified organizations to carry out all planned social responsibility initiatives.

I will work in partnership with other departments to ensure guest’s needs are determined/met and oversee the overall smooth operation of housekeeping department.

In my role as Assistant Executive Housekeeper, I assist the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing and providing guidance to the housekeeping team, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that both guest rooms and public spaces meet meticulous cleanliness standards.

In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, I am also responsible for conducting regular inspections to ensure that standards are being met. I am able to identify areas that need attention and make recommendations for improvement.

I have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. I am able to work well under pressure and am able to juggle multiple tasks at once.

I supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants, valets, stockers, public area cleaners, and floor supervisors. I am managing and directing the day–to–day operations of all Housekeeping and laundry functions.

  • Preparar con los suministros necesarios los offices, mantenerlos según las necesidades diarias.
  • Comprobar si hay problemas técnicos o de seguridad en la habitación e informar de ellos a mantenimiento.
  • Entregar y recuperar los artículos prestados a los clientes, por ejemplo, plancha y tablas de planchar.

 

 

CONOCIMIENTOS REQUERIDOS:

 

  • 1 año de experiencia trabajando en puesto similar en el sector hotelero o de limpieza.
  • Conocimientos de operativa hotelera.

¿Cuáles serán algunas de tus funciones???

  • Distribuir la carga de trabajo entre las distintas estaciones de una manera equitativa para los meseros, siempre y cuando la mesa asignada sea del agrado del cliente.
  • Invitar a los clientes a sentarse y auxiliar en su acomodo. Dependiendo del centro del consumo y tipo de servicio, entregar los menús, tomar órdenes de bebidas, etc. cumpliendo en todo momento con los procedimientos y estándares de calidad establecidos para cada centro de consumo y periodo de alimentos.

¿Qué buscamos??? 

  • Experiencia previa en hostelería de lujo o restaurantes de alta gama.
  • Dominio del inglés y preferiblemente un segundo idioma (francés, italiano, alemán o chino valorados).
  • Excelente presencia y habilidades de comunicación.
  • Capacidad para gestionar reservas y coordinar el flujo de clientes.
  • Conocimiento de sistemas de reservas como Cover Manager.
  • Actitud proactiva y orientación al cliente y al lujo.

Misión del puesto: Realizar la limpieza y orden diario de las habitaciones, así como de reportar algún desperfecto de estas a su superior inmediato.

 

Funciones:

 

  • Ejecutar todas las instrucciones y trabajos que le sean asignados por su superior inmediato, así como las responsabilidades que su cargo requiera.
  • Realizar la limpieza y la puesta a punto de las habitaciones, así como de las áreas comunes, cuidando el buen estado de las instalaciones y mobiliario, empleando los productos, instrumentos y materiales de limpieza necesarios.
  • Dotar y reponer las habitaciones con los amenities y los suministros que se precisen. Se encarga de eliminar la basura
  • Organizar y mantener en perfecto orden, estado y limpieza el office y carro, llevando el nivel de stock de enseres, ropas y materiales, de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos.
