As Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for taking orders and delivering food and beverages to our customers providing an excellent overall guest experience. 

• Provide excellent customer service that promote satisfaction. 
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. 
• Maintain a direct and frequent contact with guests, especially during the most important moments of their stay, like breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or any events or meetings (banqueting, coffee breaks, etc.).

• Carry out the setting up and cleaning of the tables of the restaurant and meeting rooms as required.

• Deliver checks and collect bill payments from guests, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards. 
• Identify opportunities to increase the F&B Department income by Upselling. 
• Ensure that all F&B outlet are clean, neat and tidy and ready to accept guests. 
• Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines. 

• Previous experience developing similar functions in other hotel chains, or related industries will be highly valuable.
• Vocational training on hospitality/F&B. 
• Fluency in local language and knowledge of English is highly valuable. 
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office, POS, etc).

As Receptionist, you will be responsible for attending guests’ needs upon arrival and departure and for providing an overall exceptional experience during their stay in line with the hotel’s vision and values on customer satisfaction. 

• Welcome and complete the check-in process for all guests and group arrivals in a timely and professional manner as well as complete the check-out process for departing guests and groups.  
• Manage room allocation in regards to guest characteristics (VIPs, traditional, new customers, etc.) with the correspondent department. 
• Handle if necessary, and ensure to keep the front office and management team fully informed of guest requests, inquiries, complaints and/or suggestions given by both guests and other departments. 
• Display a knowledge of all hotel products, services, price rates, available promotions and discount packages, as well as daily VIP and special events.  
• Be aware and communicate hotel services available (dry cleaning, restaurant reservations) and general safety information. 
• Maximize room occupancy at best rates (this includes closing sales and extranets if necessary). 
• Use up-selling techniques (promote the DISCOVERY loyalty program and Rewards, other destinations, food and beverages, hotel transportation and facilities). 
• Handle incoming guest room reservations. 
• Provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area (museums, monuments), including special events, sights, restaurants, activities, etc. in the city. 
• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. 
• Follow company brand standards.

FOR NIGHT RECEPTIONIST CAN BE INCLUDED: 

• Inform and provide night services to guests (e.g. wake-up call). 
• Manage invoicing payments and cash operations during the night shift. 
• Run rounds, check for irregularities, shutdown windows, doors, etc. 
• Responsible for the night audit reports.  

• Previous experience in the Front Office department, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. 
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
•  Fluency in local language is a must and high level of English is required. 
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office,TMS, etc) and Front Office systems.

As Stewarding, you will be responsible for carrying out general cleaning duties and operating pot-washing machinery to deliver an excellent guest experience. 
You will also be required to ensure all back of house areas are kept clean and observe health and safety guidelines. 

• Clean, operate and maintain the equipment and tools.

• Perform the cleaning schedule established by the Executive Chef. 
• Detect needs of cleaning products and inform the supervisor for their supply.

• Supply of earthenware, glass, cutlery and auxiliaries (Kitchen and Restaurant).

As Sous Chef, you will be committed to providing our guests with exceptional service, quality, and value. You will assist with training, assigning duties and supervision of the kitchen staff during the preparation, cooking and garnishment of food items.
You will also assist in the development of new menu offerings, banquet menus and reviewing all banquet event orders.  

• Organize and coordinate the operative of the department, jointly with the Executive Chef, in the optimization of the human and material resources that the hotel provides. 
• Support the Executive Chef in the creation, design, management and control of the entire gastronomic offer of the hotel proactively, with periodic review (Data sheets, PSP, Menu Engineering). 
• Constant development of I+D in the department. 
• Together with the kitchen staff, supervise the preparation, cook and presentation of the high quality dishes according to recipes/menu within company guidelines. 
• Constant analysis of the F&B P&L to ensure the achievement of objectives. 
• Supervision in the management and control of stocks, orders and inventories of utensils, food and drink necessary for the operation of the hotel.     
• Supervision of the quality of the products and utensils used in the services. 
• Supervision in the task cleaning plan for all kitchen facilities. 
• Make the shifts and schedules of the staff in charge, while managing all the high, low, absences, etc., in the department. 
• Support the Executive Chef in the selection, training and evaluation of all the staff. 
• Daily supervise the correct image of the personnel in charge and correct treatment with the client. 
• Address and resolve customer complaints and suggestions and forward them to your superior. 
• Collaboration and support to all departments of the hotel. 
• Supervise and consolidate the standards in terms of quality, environment, HACCP and prevention of occupational hazards in the company and collaborate with the hotel in its compliance and continuous improvement. 
• In the absence of the Executive Chef, he will assume all his responsibilities. 

• At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. 
• Vocational training on hospitality/F&B/kitchen.

As Kitchen Assistant you will work in close contact with the kitchen supervisors and team members, and assist them by performing a range of food preparation tasks. You will also perform all cleaning, washing, and preparation duties required in the kitchen to ensure that the operations run smoothly.

• Prepare and preserve the necessary ingredients for the service according to recipes or menu. 
• Check and ensure the correct use of the temperature of appliances and food. 
• Collaborate in the preparation and presentation of high quality dishes for daily operations according to recipes/menu within company guidelines. 
• Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served. 
• Knowledge and application of the FIFO system. 
• Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area. 
• Collaborate in the preparation of all mise-en-place for all relevant menus. 
• Assist cooks during peak activity periods.
